Job Description

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, exhibition stands, joinery works, and related fabrication requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, material knowledge, and experience working with technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out and exhibition stand projects. Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements. Coordinate with the design, production, procurement, and sales teams to gather necessary information. Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value-engineering options. Obtain supplier/sub-contractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets. Estimate materials, labor, production hours, and overheads based on project scope. Assist in budgeting, pricing, and preparing proposals for clients. Track changes in project scope and update estimations accordingly. Maintain a database of material costs, production rates, and vendor pricing. Attend internal meetings to support project planning and handover.

Requirements



Minimum 2-4 years of experience as an Estimator in

interior fit-outs, exhibition stands, or joinery

. Strong knowledge of materials, production processes, and fabrication techniques. Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings, technical specs, and BOQs. Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of estimation software is a plus. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree/diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (preferred).
