Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for commercial and residential fitout projects. Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Perform quantity take-offs and pricing of materials, labor, and subcontractor works. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and negotiate pricing. Prepare and submit tender proposals in a timely and professional manner. Work closely with the project and design teams to ensure accuracy of cost planning and scope. Track and manage variations and changes throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain and update estimating databases, cost records, and tender logs.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience

as an Estimator in the fitout/interior construction industry (mandatory). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant pricing. Proficient in an estimating software. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Experience working on high-end commercial or residential fitout projects. Local market knowledge and established supplier/subcontractor relationships.
