is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing interior fit-out works to ensure projects are completed
on time, within budget, and as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements
. The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
Supervise and manage all interior fit-out activities including
joinery, carpentry, gypsum, painting, flooring, ceiling, metal works, MEP coordination
, and finishes.
Ensure works are carried out according to
approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and schedules
.
Prepare daily work plans and monitor progress against project timelines.
Site Management
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Allocate manpower, tools, and materials efficiently.
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to standards.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with
Project Managers, Consultants, Clients, and Vendors
for approvals and clarifications.
Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and rework.
Attend site meetings and provide progress updates and reports.
Quality Control
Ensure all works meet required
quality, finishing, and aesthetic standards
.
Identify and rectify defects, snags, and punch-list items.
Ensure proper material handling and storage to avoid damage.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Enforce
HSE rules and regulations
on site.
Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safe work practices.
Maintain site cleanliness and compliance with local authority regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain site records including daily reports, manpower logs, material usage, and inspections.
Support preparation of handover documents and as-built drawings.
Assist in final inspections and project handover.
