One of our International Oilfield Services client is looking for a Fishing Supervisor to be based in Kuwait. Position Overview: The Fishing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating fishing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of well intervention and completion activities. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate fishing operations to recover wellbore equipment, tools, and other debris. Monitor and evaluate fishing tools and equipment performance, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards. Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to develop fishing plans and strategies. Enforce and adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during fishing operations. Conduct safety briefings and ensure that all team members are trained on safety procedures. Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead a team of fishing crew members, providing guidance and support. Schedule and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. Possess a deep understanding of fishing tools, equipment, and techniques. Troubleshoot and address technical challenges during fishing operations. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in fishing technology. Maintain accurate records of fishing operations, including tool usage, performance, and downtime. Prepare and submit detailed reports on the outcomes of fishing operations. Provide input for post-job assessments and lessons learned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in the related field. 10+ years of experience in fishing operations within the oil and gas industry. Proven track record of successful fishing projects. Relevant certifications in well control and safety (e.g., IWCF, HSE) is a plus. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
