About Us:
We are a trusted hypermarket chain in the UAE, recognized for our commitment to freshness, quality, and customer care. We are looking for an experienced Fishmonger to join our seafood department and deliver exceptional service to our diverse customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with customers, offering expert advice on seafood and preparation methods. Ensure seafood displays are fresh, attractive, and well-presented. Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in seafood handling and storage. Support promotions and seasonal offers to boost sales. Mentor junior staff to maintain service standards.
Requirements:
3-5 years' experience as a Fishmonger or in a seafood retail/wholesale role. Fluency in English (knowledge of Asian languages is a strong advantage). Strong understanding of seafood varieties popular in Asian cuisines. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
