Job Purpose
  • This role will act as First line sales leader for UAE Shingrix team
  • Lead and develop the team of Sales Field Force to deliver local strategy through effective coaching and support. Provide a highest level of understanding and interpretation of new HCP engagement guidelines to the team. Formulate, evaluate and implement compliance initiatives in line with global compliance practices.

  • Initiate and promote the development of direct reports by using a defined process
  • Maximize performance of team through regular coaching sessions
  • Support the team in developing tailored development plans fit to their career aspiration
  • Ensure that all-team members are getting fair opportunities for coaching & mentoring and time in field is fairly distribute
  • Lead the recruitment activities with HR team in recruiting and attracting talent
  • Train and develop new members and act as a role model for staff by setting high standards through personal behavior and actions
  • Maintain a positive working environment for the team by conducting a healthy and engaging interaction with the team
  • Act as a change catalyst by having open transparent communication based on trust and respect
  • The role will also require strong engagement and influencing skills in order to represent GSK effectively when interacting with a variety of external stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a network of collaborative relationships among CTC, marketing, medical, regulatory, distributors and other departments to ensure alignment of strategy and optimize accessibility of our products to the patients for their utmost benefit
  • Support the team in setting clear and compelling vision that guides them to deliver the strategy and goals at territory level
  • Responsible for building the account management capabilities of individual Reps, driving value-based key account management as a mindset rather than just a function
  • Ensure all team members are fully aligned & equipped to apply the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategy as well as GSK policies, processes, procedures, and expectations
  • Support business plans by conducting market analysis, identifying root causes and implications while ensuring timely follow-ups and execution to achieve agreed KPIs
  • Identify and explore opportunities for both new and existing products, support marketing team in preparing for successful launches and develop sustainable relationships with Key External Experts
  • Develop a culture of performance and self-accountability for delivery of quality results within a team
  • Lead and Follow-up on team\xe2\x80\x99s KPIs to optimize customers\xe2\x80\x99 facing time and propose the best structure according to each team member\xe2\x80\x99s capacity and area specificity in alignment with brand strategy
  • Conduct regular performance reviews in order to assess improvement and development versus plan of team members
  • Discuss new assignments in order to build skill capacity of team members and inspire them to take up challenging assignments and succeed
  • Drive the team and act as a role model in living the company values of integrity, respect for people, transparency and putting the patient at the core of every decision in every interaction internally and externally
  • Position GSK as a partner of choice for external experts by building trustful relationships with HCPs and leveraging team\xe2\x80\x99s knowledge and having the patient at the heart of every discussion
Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Science based degree (preferably a Pharmacy Degree)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roles
  • People management is a key
  • Experience of launching a product will be plus
  • Hiring would be subjected based on securing work permit and residence in UAE
Preferred Qualifications:
  • UAE experience is preferred.

  • Proven track record of effective territory management and distinguished field KPIs
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and coach a team of junior and experienced Sales Field Force staff
  • Ability to establish the development agenda in line with team\xe2\x80\x99s current capabilities
  • Capability of planning, organizing, and leading effective field operations in a highly competitive market
  • Robust knowledge and capability of analyzing complex data of various sources and interpret it for effective business solutions
  • Demonstrated project management capability
  • Highly evident and developed verbal and written communication skills and a strong interpersonal skill
  • A change champion with the ability to drive the change agenda
  • Strong knowledge of GSK\xe2\x80\x99s compliance and governance framework.
  • Capability of establishing internal and external partnerships and ability to effectively interacting with cross functional teams.
