Role Objective

To lead the complete business development and technical sales cycle -- from opportunity identification and client consultation to tender submission and final contract -- for Fire & Safety system upgrades within high-security oil & gas and power sector facilities. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and adherence to UAE and international fire protection standards.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Engagement

Deliver and exceed annual sales objectives for Fire Protection System retrofits (pumps, alarms, hydrants, suppression systems). Build enduring relationships with consultants, EPCs, and procurement divisions of oil & gas operators. Manage and negotiate proposals, tenders, and techno-commercial submissions aligned with client budgets and project scopes.

Technical Consultancy & Compliance

Carry out detailed site inspections and audits to evaluate fire system integrity, code compliance, and upgrade requirements. Collaborate with design and project teams to develop

NFPA / ADCDA / UAE Fire Code

compliant solutions. Possess working knowledge of operational and safety procedures for restricted oil & gas and power plant zones.

Documentation & Project Transition

Prepare detailed scope documents, BOQs, and technical specifications for tendering and execution. Develop compliance matrices and pre-qualification documentation for bidding. Ensure smooth knowledge transfer to the execution team, with complete technical dossiers and client correspondence.

Qualifications & Competencies

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Engineering

. 7 + years of experience in

technical sales, design, or project management

within Fire & Safety industries (UAE/GCC). Strong background working with

Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Critical Infrastructure clients

. Solid technical command of

Water Spray, Foam, Gas Suppression, and Hydrant/Sprinkler Systems

. Familiarity with

NFPA standards and UAE Fire & Life Safety Codes

. Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Skilled in

MS Office / CRM platforms

for reporting and documentation. Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).

Preferred:

NFPA or equivalent certifications (CFPS, Fire Protection Specialist, etc.).
