Oversee the production, installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of fire-resistant safes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, certification requirements, and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight & Process Flow Management
Supervise and manage the end-to-end manufacturing process of fire-resistant safes.
Ensure smooth workflow between fabrication, assembly, quality checks, and packaging stages.
Monitor production timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize process efficiency.
Quality Assurance
Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify fire resistance ratings, structural integrity, and overall product quality.
Ensure adherence to company and industry standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Certification & Compliance Management
Ensure products meet certification requirements (e.g., BIS, UL, EN fire resistance standards).
Coordinate testing, documentation, and audits for product certification processes.
Maintain records and compliance reports for certifications and regulatory requirements.
Installation & Maintenance Supervision
Oversee installation teams to ensure safes are installed correctly at client locations.
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for safes at client sites.
Product Improvement & Innovation
Identify areas for design enhancements or process improvements based on field feedback, testing results, and industry trends.
Collaborate with R&D or design teams to implement product upgrades and improve safety, durability, and usability.
Design & Drawing Knowledge
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide production and installation.
Ensure all manufacturing and installation activities align with design requirements.
Team Leadership
Lead, train, and mentor technicians, installers, and junior supervisors.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Client Interaction
Liaise with clients to understand specific requirements and provide customized solutions.
Address client complaints or technical issues promptly and effectively.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all production, installation, and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and fire-resistance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Professional Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in supervising fire-resistant safe production, installation, or maintenance. Prior experience with brands like Ozone or Godrej is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with tools and equipment for safe assembly and installation.
Familiarity with fire-resistance testing and standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications.
Knowledge of product certification processes and documentation requirements.
