Design and review electrical systems for diesel, electric, and jockey fire pump sets in compliance with NFPA, UL/FM, and client specifications.
Prepare electrical schematics, control panel layouts, cable schedules, and load calculations.
Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and ensure full compliance with quality standards.
Perform site installation inspections, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of fire pump systems.
Troubleshoot electrical control issues and coordinate with mechanical and project teams for system integration.
Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and compliance certificates.
Support project teams during technical meetings, client inspections, and audits.
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements for oil & gas projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fire pump electrical systems (design/QC/commissioning).
Strong understanding of NFPA 20, NFPA 70, UL/FM guidelines, and oil & gas codes.
Experience with PLC logic, control circuits, VFDs, and motor starters.
Hands-on experience with testing and commissioning of fire pump controllers.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced industrial environments and travel to project sites.
