What will you do?

Together with the Fire Life Safety Manager, carries out \xe2\x80\x9cin house\xe2\x80\x9d testing of the systems in accordance with the standard \xe2\x80\x9cMonthly Checklist\xe2\x80\x9d..
Supervises all specialist contractors testing of systems identified by the Fire Life Safety Manager, in accordance with the standard \xe2\x80\x9cMonthly Checklist\xe2\x80\x9d.
Maintains all records of testing, maintenance and remedial work for all Life Safety Equipment & Systems including Vertical Transportation.
Promotes safety awareness for all hotel employees together with Fire Life Safety Manager.
Assists Fire Life Safety Manager to ensure training of the \xe2\x80\x9cEmergency Response Team\xe2\x80\x9d is to a high standard and includes \xe2\x80\x9chands on\xe2\x80\x9d use of all relevant fire fighting equipment.
Participates in the training and Fire Drills conducted by Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Department.
Assists Fire Life Safety Manager to carry out fire drills in accordance with our guidelines and recommends methods for improving performance & responses.
Maintains records of all training, fire drill tests, and recommendations for improvement.
Initial detailed familiarization of fire & smoke compartmentation requirements in the hotel.
Subsequent supervision & monitoring of any breaches in these equipments and reports to Fire Life Safety Manager.
Reports to Fire Life Safety Manager when \xe2\x80\x98breaches\xe2\x80\x99 in requirement are observed.
Monitoring and reporting on corrective measures.
Ensuring that all life safety signage, be it illuminated or otherwise, is correctly maintained.
Ensures that appropriate fire doors are \xe2\x80\x9cunlocked\xe2\x80\x9d at all times. Immediately arranges for doors to be unlocked and files a report on the incident.
