Seeking a candidate with a strong background in fire and life safety requirements, particularly with experience in NFPA and QCDD regulations with architectural back ground.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify architectural designs and prepare life safety drawings in compliance with NFPA and QCDD regulations.
Prepare and present technical reports, assessments, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Engage with clients to gather and understand project-specific fire and life safety requirements.
Conduct site visits and evaluate existing buildings for compliance and upgrade needs.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to study integration with firefighting, fire alarm, and ACMV systems.
Attend QCDD inspections and support the approval process.
Ensure all fire and life safety designs fully comply with applicable local and international codes and regulatory standard
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering is an advantage.
Proven experience working with engineering or architectural consultancies.
Currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client interaction skills.
Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team and coordinate across disciplines.
Capability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
Prior GCC experience is required.
Valid UPDA registration and QCDD certification are mandatory
