Lead and supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of fire fighting and fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of fire safety projects. Maintain accurate documentation of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities for regulatory compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire alarm systems and firefighting equipment efficiently. Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols while working on-site and during emergency responses. Stay updated on the latest regulations and advancements in fire safety technology to inform practices and training. Develop and implement training programs for team members on the latest fire safety protocols and equipment usage. Conduct thorough inspections of fire safety equipment, identifying and addressing any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in fire protection engineering or related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fire fighting and fire alarm systems installation and maintenance. Relevant certifications such as NICET Fire Alarm Systems, Firefighter I & II, and OSHA safety certifications are mandatory. Proven leadership skills, with experience managing a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong understanding of local, state, and national fire codes and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail in safety compliance. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to fire fighting systems.
