As we expand our operations, we are seeking experienced Fire Fighting Technicians to join our team and ensure the proper installation and maintenance of fire protection systems across our projects.
Job Responsibilities
Install, inspect, and maintain fire fighting systems including sprinklers, pumps, extinguishers, and alarms
Read and interpret technical drawings and system layouts
Conduct routine testing and troubleshooting of fire protection equipment
Ensure compliance with local fire safety codes and regulations
Collaborate with engineers and site supervisors to meet project timelines
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations
Respond to emergency service calls when required
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications
Proven experience as a fire fighting technician in construction or facilities management
Knowledge of fire protection systems and safety standards
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Skilled in using tools and equipment related to fire system installation
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments
Trade certification or vocational training in fire safety systems is preferred
