Install, program, and test fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing fire alarm systems to ensure full functionality and code compliance.
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections in accordance with NFPA, local, and national codes.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
Verify wiring connections and circuit continuity using appropriate testing tools.
Ensure all work meets or exceeds applicable codes and standards.
Document service and installation activities accurately using work orders and inspection reports.
Coordinate with contractors, electricians, and building managers during projects.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire alarm system technologies and safety protocols.
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests.
