to join our team, specializing in the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems within interior fit-out projects. The role requires expertise in low-voltage systems, adherence to local fire codes, and the ability to coordinate with other trades on fast-paced commercial and residential fit-outs.
Key Responsibilities:
Install fire alarm systems including control panels, detectors, call points, sounders, and related cabling.
Read and interpret fire alarm and MEP drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Carry out system wiring, termination, device mounting, and panel installation as per standards.
Conduct system testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
Coordinate with fire protection and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Ensure all work complies with local fire authority regulations (e.g., Civil Defense), NFPA, or other applicable codes.
Assist in inspection and commissioning with consultants and fire safety authorities.
Prepare documentation for installation, testing, and handover.
Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure safe working practices at all times.
Requirements:
Experience in fire alarm system installation, preferably in interior fit-out environments.
Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and devices (addressable and conventional).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Familiar with local fire safety standards and regulations.
Physically fit and able to work on active construction sites.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in fire alarm systems installation or maintenance.
Experience with systems from brands such as Notifier, Siemens, Honeywell, GST, etc.
Civil Defense-approved technician (if required by local regulations).
Experience in commercial, hospitality, or retail fit-outs.
