. You must have a strong eye for detail, finishing techniques, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and furniture designs.
Cut, shape, assemble, and install wood or wood-based furniture for
homes and offices
according to specifications.
Perform high-quality finishing work such as sanding, edge-banding, polishing, painting, and laminating.
Install completed furniture units on-site (e.g., wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, TV units, office desks, shelving systems).
Ensure proper alignment, secure fitting, and functionality of all units.
Operate and maintain carpentry machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure project accuracy and high standards.
Inspect and repair damaged or defective furniture components.
