Responsibilities
To read blueprints, technical drawings and construction plans.
To use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
To measure, cut, and shape carpentry materials with precision.
To build and install custom cabinetry, shelving units (cupboard and wardrobes), doors and furniture as per design and specification.
To apply stains, paints, and finishes, ensuring a high-quality appearance.
To carry out sanding and polishing on wood surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics.
To maintain tools and machinery and to keep the workplace clean and safe
To load, unload, and move materials and finished products.
To ensure production timeline, quality standard and safety procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as Finishing Carpenter in Joinery Interior Fit-Out work.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and installation techniques.
Good understanding of joinery materials (Wood, MDF, Veneer, Laminates, Finishes, Hardware, and Ironmongeries),
Additional knowledge of painting, and polishing.
Ability to work independently.
Able to communicate in English
