We are seeking a skilled Joinery Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and joinery techniques, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Joinery Carpenter will be responsible for creating, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, and join materials using hand tools and power tools.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with other team members and trades to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Assist in estimating material and labor costs for projects.
Follow project timelines and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior carpenters as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpenter, particularly in joinery.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are preferred.
Additional to salary AED. 250 (Food Allowance), Accommodation, Airticket & Transportation will be provided by the company.
