Key Responsibilities
- Work with business heads and local finance teams to build.
- their annual budgets
- periodic financial forecasts
- Long term financial plans and lookahead
- Help develop and monitor appropriate KPI's for financial performance
- Build financial models
- Produce analysis and commentary on business performance and results
- Identify and understand business challenges, propose and work on solutions
- Prepare financial business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
- Perform work on special projects
- Support the implementation of business intelligence tools
Specific Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Relevant industry experience (project or contracts type business)
- Has prepared budgets / forecasts for multiple business units and legal entities, across multiple geographies and currencies.
- Strong commercial understanding
- Relevant professional qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CGMA)
- Bachelors degree.
- Significant analytical skills
- Able to solve complex problems
- Expert in Excel modelling
- Expert in preparing executive level presentations and reports
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
- Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
