We are seeking an

experienced Financial Modeling & Business Planning Expert

to transform our vision into a rigorous, defendable business plan supported by robust financial models. This is a

project-based specialist role

with option for full time employement. You will collaborate closely with our leadership team to refine our business model, validate key assumptions, and create investor-ready financial projections.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with founders to refine and structure the overall business plan, ensuring assumptions are credible and well-supported. Build comprehensive financial models covering multiple revenue streams, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and growth scenarios. Incorporate biotech-specific factors such as R&D pipelines, regulatory timelines, and product commercialization stages. Conduct sensitivity analyses, break-even calculations, and ROI projections for each business line. Produce clear, investor-friendly outputs that withstand scrutiny from sophisticated stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proven track record of building sophisticated financial models for biotech, healthtech, or high-growth startups. Strong experience in developing defendable business plans for fundraising or strategic partnerships. Advanced skills in Excel or financial modeling software, with the ability to handle multi-entity structures. Deep understanding of venture capital metrics, valuation methodologies, and investment analysis. Ability to work with incomplete or evolving data sets and still produce actionable, credible projections. Excellent communication skills to explain assumptions and outputs clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Nice to have

Experience with precision medicine, genomics, or pharmaceutical commercialization timelines. Familiarity with UAE or GCC market dynamics.
