Job Summary:

As a Financial Due Diligence professional, you will be responsible for conducting thorough financial analyses and assessments of potential investment targets or companies involved in mergers and acquisitions. Your role is critical in providing valuable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: * Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including reviewing financial statements, cash flow, income statements, and balance sheets to assess the financial performance and health of the target company.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential financial risks associated with the target company, such as debt obligations, contingent liabilities, and other financial commitments.
  • Financial Modeling: Create financial models to forecast future performance, assess various scenarios, and determine the impact of the transaction on the financials of the acquiring company or investors.
  • Due Diligence Report: Prepare detailed due diligence reports outlining your findings, insights, and recommendations. Communicate these findings to stakeholders, including senior management, investors, or clients.
  • Industry and Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis to provide context for your financial assessments.
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the target company complies with all relevant financial regulations and legal requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and operational experts, to provide a comprehensive assessment of the target company.
  • Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, providing them with regular updates on the due diligence process and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Recommendations: Based on your analysis, provide recommendations regarding the feasibility and risks associated with the transaction, including potential deal structuring options.
  • Post-Transaction Support: Assist in the transition phase after the deal is completed, ensuring a smooth integration of the target company into the acquiring organization.
Qualifications: * - Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master\'s degree or professional certification, such as CPA or CFA, may be preferred).
  • - Prior experience in financial analysis, and due diligence.
  • -Experience in executing transactions in the upstream oil & gas sector
  • -specific transaction services experience working in a Big 4 entity.
  • - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
  • - Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
  • - Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • - Ability to work well in a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
