Job Description

A diversified investment group is looking to appoint a strategic and commercially focused Finance Director to lead the finance function across its portfolio of operating companies and investments. This is a high-impact leadership role, working closely with executive stakeholders to drive financial performance, support strategic growth, and ensure operational excellence. The Role: You'll be responsible for leading the end-to-end finance operations across multiple entities, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, systems implementation, and internal controls. You will also support investment decision-making and play a key role in M&A, JV structuring, and portfolio value creation. Core Responsibilities:

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across group entities Manage consolidated financials and statutory audit processes Drive budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning cycles Develop models to support acquisitions, exits, and strategic planning Optimise financial systems and reporting tools Ensure governance, accuracy, and compliance across all financial operations Manage a team of internal and outsourced finance professionals Liaise with auditors, advisors, and JV/investment stakeholders Support automation and process improvement initiatives group-wide Ideal Profile:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) 8-15 years of experience in a similar role within a PE-backed platform, family office, or investment holding structure Proven track record managing finance across multiple entities or business lines Hands-on systems knowledge and process improvement mindset Strong commercial acumen with advanced Excel and modelling skills Excellent stakeholder management and board-level communication What We're Looking For: A sharp, strategic thinker who combines technical finance expertise with a commercial mindset.
