Apt Resources is excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Financial Director to join a prestigious 4-star luxurious hotel in Dubai. As the Financial Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and managing all financial operations within the hotel. Your role will include financial planning, analysis, and management of budgeting and forecasting processes, in order to enhance profitability and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

As the Financial Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and managing all financial operations within the hotel. Your role will include financial planning, analysis, and management of budgeting and forecasting processes, in order to enhance profitability and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis function to foster data-driven decision-making
- Manage the hotel's financial performance, including oversight of accounting, cash flow, and budgeting
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at maximizing profitability and optimizing financial results
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts for senior management
- Direct and oversee the audit process, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insight and guidance on cost management
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and enhance accountability
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA is preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices, specifically in hotel finance with Audit and Compliance background
- Proven track record of successful budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with SUN Systems financial management software and tools
- Must be currently located in the UAE and available for an in-person interview
Salary is AED 13,000 - 16,000 (All in)
