Job Description

Job Purpose The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the firm's financial strategy, corporate finance, budgeting, compliance, and risk management. The role ensures financial sustainability, effective resource allocation, and alignment with strategic objectives, including the Strategy Refresh (SR) initiatives. The Finance Director plays a pivotal role in integrating financial planning with investment management, fostering collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders, and implementing financial governance frameworks to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability. Strategic Responsibilities

Develop and execute financial strategies that maximize financial returns while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS standards. Align financial strategies with the firm's economic and investment priorities to enhance long-term sustainability. Oversee capital allocation frameworks to optimize financial efficiency and support investment decision-making. Provide financial leadership for the firm's Strategy Refresh (SR) initiatives to enhance financial forecasting and risk assessment. Ensure the development and implementation of best-in-class financial policies, risk mitigation frameworks, and governance structures. Drive financial digital transformation by integrating ERP and data analytics tools for better financial planning and decision-making. Engage with senior leadership and the Board to provide insights on financial performance, capital structuring, and strategic financial planning. Strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and external auditors. Core Responsibilities

Oversee the firm's financial planning and budgeting processes to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Lead the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory disclosures in compliance with IFRS and UAE financial standards. Manage financial reporting frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility for decision-making. Implement internal financial controls to enhance risk management and ensure regulatory compliance. Develop and oversee the adoption of ERP systems and financial management tools to improve financial efficiency. Monitor cash flow management, working capital, and liquidity to optimize financial performance. Collaborate with investment and portfolio management teams to integrate financial planning with asset allocation strategies. Supervise taxation planning and ensure compliance with international and domestic financial regulations. Optimize cost management processes, improving financial efficiency across operational units. Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial advisors to ensure best-in-class financial governance. Drive financial process automation and innovation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. Ensure the firm maintains compliance with all financial governance requirements and industry best practices. Education & Qualifications

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, CFA, CPA) preferred. Certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are highly desirable. Experience Requirements

Minimum 12 years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Fund of Funds, Investments and large Asset Management companies. Proven expertise in corporate finance, budgeting, and financial risk management within sovereign wealth funds, asset management, or large financial institutions. Strong understanding of UAE-specific financial regulations, IFRS standards, global financial best practices and advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Expertise in financial planning, capital allocation, and risk management frameworks. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence financial strategy and drive organizational change. Experience in leveraging financial technology tools for reporting, forecasting, and investment analytics. External Interface
