Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations across the hospitality division (hotels, restaurants).
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely consolidation and submission of management reports for the group's hospitality entities.
Implement and maintain financial controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all hospitality units.
Coordinate and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis process for all properties.
Supervise cash flow management, fund allocation, and working capital optimization.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and compliance.
Operational & Strategic Responsibilities
Partner with General Managers and the Operations team to drive profitability and cost efficiency across hospitality assets.
Conduct financial feasibility studies for new projects, renovations, or acquisitions.
Review and monitor performance metrics such as RevPAR, GOP, ADR, occupancy rates, and F&B profitability.
Develop and implement internal controls and standard accounting procedures tailored for hospitality operations.
Lead cost control initiatives across all outlets, including F&B, rooms, maintenance, and procurement.
Support senior management with financial insights and recommendations to improve operational performance.
Contribute to strategic decision-making, including investment evaluation, expansion planning, and asset management.
Oversee payroll, vendor payments, purchasing approvals, and expense management processes in coordination with property-level finance teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CA/ACCA preferred).
Minimum
7-8 years of experience
as a
Financial Controller
or within the
hospitality industry
.
Proven experience working in the
Gulf region (GCC)
is
mandatory
.
Strong knowledge of
hospitality accounting systems
(e.g., Oracle, Sun Systems, Opera PMS, Micros, or similar).
In-depth understanding of
hotel operations, cost control, F&B financial management
, and
asset management
.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple properties simultaneously.
Must be
locally available
for immediate or short-term joining.
