We are currently working with a truly global company within the consumer space to recruit a Financial Accountant in Dubai, UAE. As the Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the company\'s financial success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably CPA qualified, and expertise in Source to Pay (STP) and Record to Report (RTR) processes.
What You\xe2\x80\x99ll be Doing\xe2\x80\xa6
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights to support financial decision-making.
- Source to Pay (STP): Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier management, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
- Record to Report (RTR): Oversee the RTR cycle, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial close activities.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations and standards.
- Financial Audits: Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA qualification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience with Source to Pay (STP) and Record to Report (RTR) processes.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
