Job Description
A leading multinational chemical company in the UAE is actively recruiting for a Financial Accountant to be based in Dubai. - Assisting the Finance Manager in obtaining bank facilities, banking relations & credit facilities.
- Maintaining general ledgers.
- Posting of supplier invoices.
- Disbursing petty cash by recording entries and verifying documentation.
- Preparing weekly bank reconciliation statement and ensure reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner.
- Payment of vendors, scheduling and preparing cheques.
- Following up and receiving Vendor statements and reconciling vendor accounts.
- Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Preferably female candidate.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree Holder. Preferably Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting & Finance. CA or CIMA Certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Financial Accountant.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages such as MS Dynamics Business Central, SAP or Oracle.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP\xe2\x80\x99s and pivot tables.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication skills in English.
