The Role:


We are a dynamic and fast-growing Crypto Media Company operating at the intersection of innovation, education and finance. As we expand, we're seeking a skilled

Financial Accountant

(based in Dubai)

with a hunger for growth and a deep understanding of financial principles.
This role is responsible for managing affiliate revenue dashboards, handling revenue share reconciliations, assisting with weekly and monthly accounting tasks using Xero and also provide support with ad hoc administrative tasks as they arise.

Responsibilities:


Ensure timely debtor receipts and follow up on outstanding payments.
Monitor and report on crypto holdings, valuations, and gains/losses.
Manage invoicing, payments, and receivables, including transactions involving cryptocurrencies.
Ensure accurate record keeping of payables and receivables.
Create, maintain, and update affiliate revenue dashboards on a weekly basis.
Assists all financial operations; including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.?
Assist with the budgeting process; including preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and identifying variances.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; providing actionable insights to senior management.
?Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Record and reconcile transactions involving cryptocurrencies, including wallet activity and exchange accounts.
Ensure compliance with relevant tax and accounting standards for crypto assets.
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.
Assist with general admin tasks including documentation, tracking, and coordination across teams.
Implement business suggestions and strategies.

Requirements:


Experience in Crypto or Understanding of Blockchain
Experience XERO Professional level use and execution of Excel and Google Sheets
Solid experience managing and monitoring Token holdings and sales.
Solid experience in reconciling tokens, with keen accuracy.



Qualifications:


Bachelors/Honour's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in data capturing and building client relations.
5+ years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a technology or financial services company.
Experience working with crypto businesses or handling digital assets is essential.
