Job Description

Job Overview:


We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to support our Finance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the company's day-to-day bookkeeping within our Zoho Books ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, be proficient in using Zoho, and be responsible for generating accurate and timely reports for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Sales/Purchase Orders.

Key Responsibilities:



Bookkeeping & ERP Management:



Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure accuracy in financial records. Record all financial transactions in the Zoho Books ERP system, including invoices, payments, expenses, and bank reconciliations. Maintain and update the chart of accounts. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all data entered into the Zoho system.

Accounts Receivable (AR):



Prepare and issue customer invoices and credit notes in a timely manner. Monitor customer accounts for timely collections and follow up on overdue payments. Generate and analyze AR aging reports and provide updates to the Finance Manager. Reconcile customer statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Accounts Payable (AP):



Process vendor invoices, verify them against purchase orders, and ensure proper approval. Prepare and process payments to vendors as per payment terms. Generate and analyze AP aging reports to manage cash flow effectively. Maintain good relationships with suppliers and resolve any invoice-related queries.

Sales and Purchase Orders:



Assist in the creation and management of Sales Orders and Purchase Orders within Zoho. Ensure POs are matched with received goods/services and corresponding invoices. Generate reports on order status, sales performance, and procurement activities.

Reporting & Analysis:



Prepare regular financial reports (AR/AP Aging, Sales/Purchase Registers, etc.) for management review. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities. Support with other ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. ACCA Candidates A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Finance Executive, Accountant, or in a similar role.

Mandatory:

Hands-on experience with

Zoho Books ERP system

is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in other ERPs (like Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle) and a willingness to learn Zoho quickly will also be considered. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (AR, AP, GL, Reconciliation). Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) for data analysis and reporting. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal). Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
