JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title Finance Manager Reporting To Chief Operating Officer Department Finance Sub Department NA Job Grade Job Code JOB PURPOSE Analyzes daily financial activities, interprets data, and advises management on future financial plans, enabling informed decision-making and goal achievement through financial forecasting. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Accountabilities * Shaping financial strategy, securing funding, managing financial risks, overseeing FP&A, IRFS standards, compliance, budget formulation, and expense control to align with organizational goals.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Collate, prepare, and interpret financial reports, budgets, accounts, and statements. Analyze costs, pricing, sales results, and financial performance.
Financial Planning and Projections: Develop financial trends and projections, aligning the companys finances with future objectives.
Internal Audit and Compliance: Perform internal audits to monitor financial health, ensure compliance with laws, and correct errors in entries and reports.
Finance Department Oversight: Direct the finance departments operations, set goals, instruct on accounting standards, and maintain efficiency in financial tasks.
Taxation and Payroll Management: Stay informed about tax regulations, prepare and review VAT returns, manage VAT compliance, and ensure accurate payroll processing and deductions. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Perform other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the manager.
Qualifications
A university graduate in Finance and Accounting.
Professional Qualification such as ACCA/ CA / CPA is a must.
Years & nature of experience 8+ years in a similar role Core Competencies Technical Skills * Financial analysis
