A fast-scaling tech startup backed by $25M in funding is hiring a Finance Manager / Head of Finance - the first permanent senior hire in finance - to continue enhancing the finance function. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with visionary tech-lead Founders and shape the financial future of a disruptive business.
The Role:
You'll lead the full finance function - from hands-on accounting to strategic planning and investor support. You'll act as a true business partner to the Founders, driving performance, enabling growth, and building systems that scale.
We're looking for someone super sharp, analytical, and curious - someone who's excited to roll up their sleeves, but also comfortable at the strategy table. A tech-forward mindset is key - including a willingness to learn basic coding to better align with the product and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Operations

• Own day-to-day finance operations and reporting.
• Lead closings, audits, and compliance with local standards.
• Set up internal controls and financial processes.
• Handle VAT/Corporate Tax

FP&A

• Build and maintain robust financial models and forecasts.
• Monitor KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
• Deep dive into analysis
• Partner with the Founders on performance tracking.

Budgeting & Cash Flow

• Develop and manage budgets and operating plans.
• Optimize cash flow and working capital.

Strategic Finance & Fundraising

• Support fundraising efforts and investor reporting.
• Collaborate on long-term financial planning.
• Drive data room readiness and investor communications.

Admin & Ops Support

• Oversee payroll, expenses, and policy implementation.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and legal teams.

Requirements:

• Previous UAE work experience is required
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CFA (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5+ years' experience - ideally starting in the Big 4, followed by working in a startup/scale-up exposure, from the tech or ecommerce industries
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Hands-on, analytical, and solutions-oriented.
• Comfortable learning new tech - including basic coding.
• Confident communicator with a commercial mindset.
