Job Description

Role Objective: The key responsibility of the job holder is to aid the Retail expansion in line with business growth plans, by identifying and acquiring new properties at national/ regional level, negotiate and renew leases and ensure compliance on all related processes.

Key responsibilities: · Support head of leasing in scouting for local properties / establishments and perform due diligence of prospective sites for retail space and store set up.

· Liaise with the Legal department to work out the legal aspects of the agreement seeking clarifications on legal / financial / other commercial terms

· Source technical drawings / MEP details to finalize layouts with the Mall management / property developers

· Regular meetings with stakeholders like management team/concept heads/LL's on the way forward

· Support the team in preparing feasibilities for new stores

· Support the head of leasing for negotiating rents / leases and commercial terms with mall / retail site owners / proprietors on behalf of the Group within the prescribed financial guidelines.

· Finalize rent / lease agreements, clauses with the internal and external legal department and the property developers

· Mitigate risks of cost increase of the rental properties Candidate should be qualified CA with relevant experience in similar field and capacity. · Preferably with GCC experience.
