The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial health of Auto Millennium Group by overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. The role ensures accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making and compliance with local regulations and group policies within the automotive business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Provide financial insights, dashboards, and management reports to support business decisions.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Control
Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across sales, after-sales, parts, and operations.
Monitor budget performance, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
Control operating expenses, margins, and working capital.
Accounting & Compliance
Oversee daily accounting activities including GL, AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
Ensure compliance with ZATCA/VAT, zakat/corporate tax, withholding tax, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate external audits and act as primary liaison with auditors and regulatory authorities.
Cash Flow & Treasury
Manage cash flow planning, bank facilities, and credit lines.
Optimize receivables, payables, and inventory to maintain healthy liquidity.
Oversee banking relationships, guarantees, and financing arrangements.
Automotive Business Support
Monitor vehicle sales margins, incentives, rebates, floor planning, and dealer/manufacturer settlements.
Oversee parts inventory valuation, obsolescence provisions, and after-sales profitability.
Support pricing, cost analysis, and profitability by brand, model, and service line.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with group governance and approval matrices.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuity.
Allocate responsibilities, set KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Systems & Process Improvement
Ensure effective use of ERP/Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Drive process automation and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (Master's degree preferred).
Professional qualification: CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum 8-10 years of finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Prior experience in the automotive industry or multi-branch operations is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT/Zakat, and local regulatory requirements.
