Job Description

The Finance Manager will oversee the full spectrum of financial management activities for the company, including end-to-end bookkeeping, monthly closings, treasury management, audit coordination, and management reporting. This role will play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and timely delivery of actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Statutory Reporting

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to IFRS standards

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process

Prepare and review financial statements by providing variance analysis

Maintain and continuously improve internal accounting systems and processes

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Oversee daily cash flow, forecast cash requirements and prepare rolling cash flow projections

Manage utilization of banking products and working capital arrangements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Coordinate the annual budgeting process with all stakeholders

Analyze financial performance versus budget and provide insights to management, including cost control initiatives

Audit, Compliance & Controls

Liaise with auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits.

Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and strengthen financial accuracy.

Management Information Systems (MIS) & Analytics

Review MIS reports and provide insights to management, highlighting key performance metrics and trends

Develop dashboards and automate recurring reports where feasible.
