Finance Manager

We are seeking a 3-5 experienced and detail-oriented

Finance Manager

with a strong background in

banking, fintech, and cryptocurrency/virtual assets

. The role involves

looking after all financials

of the organization -- from accounting and reporting to regulatory compliance, taxation, and treasury management.

The Finance Manager will ensure the integrity of financial data, manage

QuickBooks accounting operations

, oversee

crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto conversions

, handle

VAT and Corporate Tax filings

, and coordinate

VARA monthly submissions

in partnership with the Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee

end-to-end financial operations

including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Prepare

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

(P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) under IFRS. Manage

QuickBooks accounting

-- ensuring accurate postings, reconciliations, and financial integrity. Review all entries for

sales, purchases, expenses, accruals, and adjustments

before closing periods. Provide management with financial dashboards, variance analysis, and cash flow insights. Ensure financial records are

audit-ready

and compliant with corporate governance standards.

2. Managing Crypto-to-Fiat and Fiat-to-Crypto Transactions

Oversee all

crypto conversions and treasury activities

through authorized exchanges and custodians. Ensure

accurate accounting, valuation, and reconciliation

of digital and fiat assets. Prepare

monthly VARA reports

covering crypto and fiat transactions, conversion volumes, liquidity positions, and wallet balances with

complete accuracy and supporting documentation

. Verify data integrity between

QuickBooks, exchanges, wallets, and blockchain explorers

before final submission. Coordinate with the Compliance team to validate KYC/AML status for all material transactions reported to VARA. Maintain

detailed reconciliation

of crypto holdings (on-chain vs. book values) to ensure correctness of figures in reports. Record realized/unrealized

gains and losses

in QuickBooks or ERP systems. Maintain detailed

transaction logs, wallet addresses, exchange references

, and

bank settlements

. Forecast crypto liquidity needs and mitigate market risk through strategic conversion timing.

3. QuickBooks Accounting & System Control

Configure and manage the

QuickBooks accounting system

(chart of accounts, tax codes, and reporting). Supervise daily

journal entries, reconciliations, and approvals

across departments. Integrate

bank accounts, exchanges, and wallets

for real-time data accuracy. Implement

internal controls, user access rights

, and regular system audits.

4. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting (VARA, FTA)

Ensure compliance with

VARA

,

Central Bank of UAE

, and

FATF

requirements.

Prepare and submit monthly VARA reports

in coordination with the Compliance team. Maintain robust

audit trails

for all crypto and fiat transactions. Support

AML/KYC and transaction monitoring

initiatives.

5. VAT & Corporate Tax Filing

Oversee

VAT accounting, reconciliation, and filing

as per FTA regulations. Manage

Corporate Tax implementation and filing

(including tax computation, adjustments, and Tax submissions. Coordinate with

external tax advisors and auditors

for reviews and compliance. Ensure

tax returns are filed accurately and on time

, maintaining proper documentation for all filings.

6. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Monitor

cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements

across crypto and fiat portfolios. Optimize working capital and minimize transaction costs. Oversee bank and wallet operations ensuring

proper segregation of duties and dual approvals

.

7. Audit, Risk & Internal Control

Lead

internal and external audit coordination

, providing required documentation and reports. Implement and monitor

financial controls, SOPs, and approval matrices

. Identify and mitigate

financial and operational risks

across business units.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

finance, Accounting

(Master's preferred).

5+ years of experience

in finance within

banking, fintech, or crypto sectors

. Strong knowledge of

IFRS, VARA, FTA, and AML/CFT

regulations. Hands-on expertise in

QuickBooks

,

Excel (Advanced)

, and

crypto accounting tools

. Professional certifications such as

CMA, CPA, ACCA

are an advantage.
