The
Finance Manage
r is responsible for managing the financial health of the organization. This role oversees all financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and auditing functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. The Finance Manager provides strategic financial guidance to support business decisions and achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Strategy
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights for cost control and revenue improvement.
2. Accounting & Reporting
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data and records.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
Supervise banking operations, payments, and fund transfers.
Optimize cash utilization and investment strategies.
4. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
5. Cost Management & Analysis
Monitor expenses, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and project evaluations.
6. Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (Master's or MBA preferred).
Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and ERP systems.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
High attention to detail and integrity in financial management.
