Role Summary
The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the financial health and growth of Sushi Station. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring strong internal controls, providing accurate and timely reporting, supporting business decision-making, and optimizing profitability while adhering to compliance and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Develop and track key financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts aligned with Sushi Station's business goals.
Monitor restaurant-level performance (food cost, labor cost, wastage, P&L reports) and provide actionable insights to management.
Strategic Planning & Business Support
Partner with operations and procurement teams to optimize costs and improve overall business efficiency.
Conduct financial analysis to support pricing strategies, menu engineering, and promotional initiatives.
Support long-term strategic planning, expansion projects, and capital investment decisions.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process integrity.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage, mentor, and develop finance team members.
Drive a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Act as a business partner to senior leadership by translating financial data into practical business insights.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred.
5+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within F&B, hospitality, or retail.
Strong knowledge of F&B cost structures (food cost, labor, overheads, wastage, and inventory management).
Proficiency in financial systems, ERP/accounting software, and advanced Excel skills.
Solid understanding of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Leadership qualities with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
