Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Reporting

Oversee all financial operations across the UK, US, and Dubai entities. Manage and produce consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Develop cash flow forecasts and ensure effective liquidity management. Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors in each jurisdiction. Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

Lead annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes. Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that guide business decisions. Track and analyze performance against KPIs, budgets, and forecasts. Build financial models to support pricing, investment, and scaling decisions.

Process & Systems

Implement efficient financial processes and controls suitable for a scaling start-up. Oversee accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and expense management. Recommend and implement finance systems or tools to streamline reporting and operations.

Strategic Support

Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial strategy. Provide scenario planning to support expansion, investment, and hiring decisions. Contribute to fundraising, banking, and investor relations activities if needed.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent). 5+ years of experience in finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency businesses. Strong knowledge of accounting standards (UK GAAP, US GAAP/IFRS). Excellent financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills. Hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a start-up/scale-up environment. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see the bigger picture.

Desirable:

Experience in the marketing, tech, or professional services sectors. Familiarity with compliance and tax regulations in UK, US, and UAE. Exposure to fundraising or working with investors.
