Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement financial strategies, including annual budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations to management. Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and fixed assets. Manage cash flow planning and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs; implement effective cash management strategies. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely financial reporting. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure sub-ledger reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Review and approve supplier invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with the authority matrix and procurement policies. Coordinate with the ERP systems team to enhance and customize reporting formats for AR, AP, GL, and asset modules. Oversee and manage AR and AP functions; regularly review aging reports to reduce overdue receivables and optimize cash conversion cycles. Authorize and review cash flow statements, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, Capex tracking, and loan schedules, ensuring alignment with IFRS and internal control standards. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and board packs, highlighting key trends, KPIs, and financial insights. Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax, etc.), including timely preparation and submission of tax returns and payments. Analyse costs and margins, implement cost control measures, and support pricing strategies to drive profitability. Establish, maintain, and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process, ensuring timely completion with minimal findings. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, procurement, and senior management to support financial decision-making and business planning. Ensure compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations, including financial reporting standards and labour laws.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
