Take an active, hands-on role in daily financial operations, including reviewing transactions, reports, and processes directly--not solely through team delegation
Oversee and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations
Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and procedures
Proactively identify financial issues and provide written recommendations to local and regional stakeholders
Prepare and submit accurate monthly financial reports to local and regional management
Analyze financial results in coordination with the Managing Director and report key findings and variances to the Group Finance team
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring operational efficiency
Conduct quarterly budget reviews, identifying and reporting variances to management and the Group Finance team
Track and manage receivables and payables, escalating problem areas when necessary
Review and approve daily financial transactions, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant
Review and ensure timely submission of VAT filings and other tax obligations in accordance with UAE laws
Respond promptly to ad hoc financial reporting requests from Group Finance
Ensure that all documents and reports are properly signed, dated, and archived as per internal controls and audit requirements
