Job Role: Finance Manager
Job Location: Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our Dubai-based events and exhibitions agency. As a solo finance role, you will be fully responsible for financial planning, reporting, payroll processing, and regulatory compliance. This position is critical in supporting our lean, fast-paced setup and ensuring alignment with global finance practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Process monthly payroll and employee benefits (WPS, gratuity, leaves, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and labor regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Collaborate with the global finance team for consolidated reporting.
• Maintain and optimize financial processes using the Workbook by Deltek.
• Monitor financial health and advise the CEO on cost and margin control.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA (preferred); CPA or CMA also considered.
• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a financial management role.
• Direct payroll processing experience in the UAE (including WPS and EOSB).
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, labor law, and financial compliance.
• Proficient in ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and a sharp analytical mindset.
• Excellent English communication.

• Familiar with liaising with international teams or reporting to HQs.
