Role Description:
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with financial regulations. This is a critical role that supports executive decision making through strategic financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the hotel's budget, forecast and financial plans
• Monitor financial performance and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and internal policies
• Manage cash flow, cost control, and profitability
• Supervise finance including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and audit functions
• Liaise with external auditors, banks and regulatory bodies
• Advise management on financial implications of operational decisions
• Implement financial controls and systems to safeguard hotel assets
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize revenue and minimize expenses

Qualifications:
o Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in hospitality is a must.
o Proven expertise of hotel accounting systems
o Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
o High proficiency in financial software and Microsoft office software
o in depth knowledge of accounting principles, audit coordination and risk management
o Extensive negotiation and stake holder management experience
o Strong leadership skills and attention to detail
