Job Description

Financial Planning & Strategy

Develop and oversee the company's financial planning and budgeting processes. Create financial forecasts, risk analyses, and long-term business plans. Analyze market trends and economic conditions to support strategic decisions.

Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Budget Management

Monitor departmental budgets and spending. Identify variances and recommend corrective actions. Support department heads in budget preparation and tracking.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Manage company cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity. Oversee banking relationships and optimize cash positions. Approve payments, transfers, and financial transactions.

Cost Control & Analysis

Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Conduct financial analysis to guide operational decision-making. Track KPIs, financial performance metrics, and profitability.

Internal Controls & Compliance

Develop and maintain internal financial controls and policies. Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and audit requirements. Coordinate internal and external audits.

Risk Management

Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies. Evaluate insurance coverage, credit risk, and investment risks. Implement risk-management frameworks.

Team Leadership

Supervise and mentor the accounting/finance team. Oversee training, task delegation, and performance evaluations. Promote adherence to best practices and ethical financial management.

Stakeholder Communication

Provide financial insights to executives, board members, investors, and external partners. Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals. Serve as the financial point of contact for auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Systems & Process Improvement

Implement financial management systems and software upgrades. Streamline financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Drive automation initiatives where appropriate.
