Finance Manager - Business Improvement and Systems - ISE Grade: GG12 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia An exciting opportunity has arisen to join International systems Engineering (ISE), a BAE Systems majority owned joint venture Company as a Finance Manager - Business Improvement and Systems - ISE. The successful individual will be working for a company at the forefront of ISE commitment as part of the economic offset companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Working across the ISE Functions and Project Teams will offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of ISE in KSA. Job Purpose: To be the key ISE financial contact for to lead the implementation of system upgrades and business improvement initiatives for ISE (namely SAP4 and TM1); whilst ensuring all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to. Work as part of a small Finance team to deliver continuous improvement in a fast changing environment. Ensure that financial controls are in place to support the BAE Systems Financial Control Framework. Lead the development of cost base and rates and coach and develop local talent. Accountabilities: Systems: Lead and co-ordinate involvement with system upgrades and subsequent testing to ensure ISE Finance needs and standards and maintained. Ensure that internal business processes, controls and governance are provided for with current and future IT Systems. Represent the ISE Finance function on the appropriate Management Forums and user groups.

Business Improvement / Process Development Take a lead role in identifying, developing and agreeing new or improved processes and policies. Develop policies and procedures that align with the function and business strategy and requirements. Lead the implementation of TM1 and development of associated processes. Forecast process assessment and implementation of associated improvements - including cashflow. Lead the development of a new cost base model.

Complete the quarterly COSA; demonstrating integrity with responses and agreeing action plans for areas of non-compliance. Liaise with internal and external auditors; providing assistance and guidance as necessary to ensure audit processes are completed effectively and efficiently

Governance Control Ensure that standard accounting processes are cross referenced to, and compliant with, finance policy documentation, current and in line with Quality standards. Ensure that regular reviews of finance policies and processes are carried out. Monitor Finance activities to ensure that accounting processes are being adhered to. Liaise with other functions (e.g. HR / Procurement) to ensure that processes that are cross functional are compliant with the Financial Control Framework. Coordinate Control Owner Self Assessments across ISE. Coordinate Audit Activities and related issue closure. Review business activities during reviews for process efficiency improvement in addition to controls. Complete internal and external returns demonstrating governance compliance.

Cost base and rates Lead the end to end cost base and rates process for ISE. To comply with cost base and budget reporting requirements within ISE. To ensure that the cost base of the business is accurately reflected in the IBP Ensure that cost base rates are current to support costing, pricing and cost base recovery. Be the key partner to the SLT to support the budgeting and forecast of their cost centres Coach and develop the Senior Cost Base Accountant to manage the cost base and rates process over a period of 12 months People Management Ensure the function fully adheres to all ISE and regulatory frameworks, polices, instructions and processes. Ensure their function's deliverables are met and exceeded to the internal or external customer requirements and agreed business plan. Establish, sustain, coach and continually develop ISE finance skills set. Other key tasks The scale of the ISE Finance team means that all members of the team will need to support a wide range of processes, from start to finish, some of which may not be specific to the Business Improvement and Systems, The Finance Manager - Business Improvement and Systems may also be required to deputise for the Financial Controller when necessary.
