Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee our finance & accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in the finalization and consolidation of accounts under IFRS, a sound understanding of UAE corporate tax laws and VAT compliance, and proven leadership in working capital management, cash flow planning, and financial risk assessment. Candidates with industry-specific experience in Retail, FMCG, Pharma, or Pharmacy will receive special preference.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

Lead the finalization and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts. Maintain compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws, VAT regulations, and other statutory requirements.
2. Budgeting & Financial Planning

Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Oversee and optimize cash flow planning and working capital cycles. Collaborate with leadership to support strategic decision-making through financial insights.
3. Audit & Controls

Act as the key liaison with external auditors in UAE ensuring smooth audit processes. Manage and guide the internal audit team, including review of audit plans, risk registers, and business process controls. Implement internal controls and ensure ongoing risk assessments are up to date.
4. Banking & Treasury

Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure credit facilities, LCs, and manage treasury operations. Negotiate favourable terms and ensure timely renewals of banking arrangements.
5. Business Support & Feasibility Studies

Conduct and review feasibility studies, financial models, and investment evaluations. Provide actionable insights based on business analysis to support growth and cost optimization initiatives.
6. Leadership & Communication

Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals and Internal audit team. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and board members. Ensure effective communication in English -- both verbal and written -- across departments and stakeholders.

Education requirement:

Qualified CA/ ICWA/ CPA/ CFA/ ACCA/ CMA(professional certification is Mandatory)*

Experience requirement:

Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting/Internal audit in a company. At least 2 years of experience in the UAE in a role such as Finance Manager, Financial Controller, GM - Finance or similar roles. Proven experience in Retail, FMCG, Pharma, or Pharmacy sectors is a distinct advantage.

Required Skills:

Expert knowledge of IFRS, UAE Taxation (Corporate Tax & VAT), and statutory regulations. Strong experience in budgeting, cash flow management, working capital optimization, and bank negotiations. Proficiency in preparing feasibility reports, evaluating new business opportunities, and supporting C-level decisions. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in ERP Implementation. Prior experience in dealing with external auditors in UAE. Working knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Zoho etc is an advantage. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
