Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role involves financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and advising senior management on strategic decisions based on financial data. The Finance Manager ensures compliance with financial regulations and works to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Develop financial forecasts and budgets. Analyze financial data and trends to provide strategic recommendations.

Budget Management:

Monitor and control department and company-wide budgets. Evaluate cost-saving initiatives and financial efficiency.

Reporting & Compliance:

Ensure timely preparation of financial statements. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Cash Flow & Risk Management:

Manage company cash flow and working capital. Identify and manage financial risks. Oversee investments, loans, and credit lines.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and support finance/accounting team members. Provide training and development to staff as needed.

Systems & Process Improvement:

Implement and maintain financial systems and controls. Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred). Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA (preferred). 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position. Strong understanding of financial regulations and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle). Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
