Duties and Responsibilities of a Finance OfficerFinancial Management & Reporting

Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and statements Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Monitor cash flow, income, and expenditure to ensure financial stability Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Budgeting & Planning

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts Monitor budget implementation and report variances Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management Support strategic financial planning and cost-control initiatives
Accounting & Compliance

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and procedures Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions Prepare records for internal and external audits and respond to audit queries Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
Payments & Revenue Management

Process payments, invoices, payroll, and reimbursements accurately and on time Verify payment requests and supporting documentation Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments Manage petty cash and ensure proper controls
Internal Controls & Risk Management

Implement and maintain effective financial controls Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures Ensure segregation of duties and adherence to approval limits Support fraud prevention and detection efforts
Systems & Record Keeping

Maintain financial databases and accounting systems Ensure data accuracy, security, and confidentiality Update financial policies and procedures as required
Communication & Support

Provide financial advice and support to management and departments Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and regulatory bodies Train staff on basic financial procedures and compliance
Other Responsibilities

Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by management Support organizational financial objectives and sustainability
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR5,000.00 per month
