Mission: Reporting to the EMEA Finance Director, the Finance Director partners with the GM and the entire Middle East Lead Team to run the fragrance and beauty business in the Middle East region. The role is responsible for applying internal policies and address legal- and regulatory-related issues while keeping a strong functional link with Headquarters management and ensuring an efficient use of local resources. Lead a team of one F&A Executive and indirect functional management of the Finance Controller Emirates & Saudi Arabia. The F&A Manager is a proactive and operationally involved business partner with strong business controlling focus. He/she will act as a convincing as well as influential member of the Middle East lead team and develop the local business by meeting targets and steering an efficient use of resources. Functions and Responsibilities: Business & financial controlling:
Lead and manage the annual budget planning process for the entire Middle East region for the 3 business units (Local Markets, Travel Retail and Saudi Arabia) including presentation to the EMEA Top Management
Manage the monthly closing activities. Assure a timely, properly, and compliant reporting to HQ and local partner.
Review the top- and bottom-line performance of region and propose corrective measures to the GM and the local management whenever needed
Forecast sales and anticipate future business trends assessing threats, opportunities and recommend a line of actions
Conduct, support and attend in brand and business reviews as well as manage the annual planning process
Coordinate and provide information to local and international audits
Credit risk Management in coordination with the Commercial Department
Implementation of Corporate Policies
Ensure the implementation of Group Financial Policies regarding P&L
Implement yearly A&P audit to the different distributors
Follow up on the yearly audit process of the legal entity and coordinate with auditors
Ensure robustness of local internal controls & compliance with Group Policies
Control on capital expenditures
Control on operational treasury
Business development / legal/Board of Directors
Be a strong business partner for future development opportunities in the local markets
Assess feasibility and implications for introduction of new brands and product lines
Steer regional and international projects and ensure proper implementation in the Middle East region
Consolidate all financial matters and information for the Board of Directors meetings.
Prepare presentations for Puig top management visits and for the Board of Directors meetings
Coordinate legal matters rising from the different board meetings or projects
Requirements for the role:
University degree in business administration or similar field
At least 7 years of experience in a business controlling role or leading finance/controlling function, preferably in a multinational environment with focus on consumer goods
