Our client is looking for a Finance Director to join their growing office in Dubai. It is essential you are already living in the UAE and you are fluent Russian.

Our client is looking for a Finance Director to join their growing office in Dubai. It is essential you are already living in the UAE and you are fluent Russian.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
Accounting and Taxation
- Final review of management accounts and statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP by the team, reviews of final TBs and disclosures prior to provision to the auditors
- Liaising with auditors on audit projects in the UK and abroad on certain complicated accounting issues. Agreeing fees and timeframe for the engagements
Treasury
- Review and authorization of each payment document to be processed on behalf of client companies
- Regular review of the bank balances and bank movements on all the accounts of the clients and reconciliation with the management reports
- Direct communication with the banks in respect of the client\xe2\x80\x99s portfolios, deposits placements/ releases, bank fees, etc
- Ultimate responsibility for banks compliance on behalf of clients (various jurisdictions)
Controlling
- Supervision of preparation of quarterly and annual management reporting to the Board on investments and returns of businesses, certain parts of reports are prepared by the finance team with subsequent reviews
- Review of client\xe2\x80\x99s underlying asset companies\xe2\x80\x99 financial positions, including annual accounts, business plans, Board meetings presentations, etc. Assessing recoverability of loans and investments of the clients and reporting of the conclusions to General Manager
- Control over budget preparation and budget reviews for the clients
Corporate and Legal
- Liaising with legal teams in various jurisdictions and coordinating their work subject to each projectt\xe2\x80\x99s requirements. Supervising the accounting department and financial controllers and ensuring that all changes in the commercial terms of the loans are properly and timely reflected in the amendments to the loan agreements.
- Review of the final drafts of all loan agreements and other legal documents
- Advising on appropriate corporate structuring of projects
Corporate Finance & Investment
- Review of corporate finance tasks which are primarily executed by the financial controllers. This includes but not limited to assisting clients in obtaining acquisition finance from the 3rd party lenders, evaluation of investment proposals, due diligence on the potential assets
- Review/ preparation of financial models
- Corporate and tax structuring of the business acquisitions/ disposals in cooperation with the legal teams
- Structuring and advising on complex financial transactions including: compliance, risk assessment, sanctions and PEP exposure
Who you are:
- 5 years + Finance experience
- Fluent Russian \xe2\x80\x93 business level
- Degree \xe2\x80\x93 Finance or Accounting
- Professional Accounting qualification
- IFRS or GAAP knowledge
- Familiar with local banking UAE laws
- Essential you have Finance experience
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Excellent problem solving & communication skills
- Familiar using Microsoft Excel & Word
