The Finance Director will lead the company financial operations, manage corporate finance strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement financial controls to support rapid business expansion and joint ventures. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, capable of evolving into the future CFO of the group.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Management
Develop and oversee long-term financial strategy aligned with the company vision
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
Partner with the CEO and business development team to evaluate investments and new ventures
Financial Reporting & Controls
Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Oversee internal audits, financial controls, and risk management frameworks
Prepare and present board-level financial reports
Cash Flow & Capital Allocation
Manage working capital and optimize cash flow across the holding and subsidiaries
Lead debt financing, banking relationships, and capital structuring
Supervise investment analysis and ROI modeling for new ventures
JV & M&A Financial Support
Conduct financial due diligence for joint ventures and acquisitions
Support legal and commercial teams in structuring equity deals, exit terms, and profit-sharing
Track financial performance of partner companies and strategic projects
Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, VAT, IFRS, and regulatory filings
Liaise with external auditors, legal advisors, and tax consultants
Team Leadership
Build and manage a small finance team with scalability in mind
Develop SOPs, accounting policies, and digital tools to streamline finance operations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Master's or MBA preferred)
CPA, CA, or CMA certification (mandatory)
10+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, ideally in holding groups or investment firms
Strong understanding of financial strategy, capital structuring, and compliance in the UAE
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Experience working alongside executive leadership and board members
Career Track:
This position is designed as a
pipeline to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
role within 12-24 months. Candidate will be evaluated on:
Financial discipline and reporting accuracy
Contribution to revenue generation and JV support
Budget alignment, internal controls, and risk management
Strategic insight during board discussions

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
